Manami Toyota. It didn't need the nWo That's all. The squashtastic nature of the angle would have been even worse with HHH at the wheel.
He participated enough from the sidelines as it was. His return in was well received as is all returning talent but fans cooled on him quickly Air was sucked outta the room when Austin was eliminated from the RR Aug 21, GMT -5 hbkjason said:. He could have been the leader of Extreme World Championship Wrestling.
He could have been the leader of the Federation. He could have been the defector, who was actually Vince's spy. He could have been the underdog, the one who was suspected of turning, who eventually defected in the end anyway, and become the first Undisputed Champion. I will tell you something about anything, if not everything!!

I remember hearing rumors from wrestlers in the business at that time that Triple H didn't actually blow out his quad, and it was an angle to take him off TV during the Invasion angle.
But it is ironic he blew it out the same match he was losing the titles in. I mean the guy just lost the IC Title the night before, loses the Tag Titles that night and then blows his quad out. And then we see the WCW guys start to invade Raw the week after that The Brain WF Icon. WWE should have had Booker become the most dominant world champion with wins over huge names in all companies to build on that momentum. All three wrestlers had ties to both companies and could have played both sides until making a choice to eventually join WCW as a game-changer.

In real life, Eric Bischoff wrote in his book that he and Paul Heyman have never been fond of each other. I highly recommend you read this page in order to familiarize yourself with the actual Invasion storyline. WWE vehemently denied this in a corporate statement. Rock cut a promo about WWE's victory. Hulk Hogan and the rest of the nWo came out and disparaged the Rock. Rock won his match against Hulk Hogan. After the match, Kevin Nash ran Austin over with Austin's own four wheeler!
Hogan also said he should get a shot at the Undisputed Championship. Undisputed champion Triple H obliged, due to his hatred for the Rock. At "Backlash," Hogan went on to win the championship with help of the rest of the nWo. The next night, Hulk Hogan was cutting a promo, talking about domination once again. Alberto Del Rio was jealous of Hogan's repetitive promos. All of a sudden, Ric Flair interrupted the promo. He claimed Hogan's stable ultimately ruined the nWo because of Hogan's selfishness.
The next week rolled around and Vince McMahon decided to make Hogan vs. Flair a lumberjack match. It was a highly-anticipated event because the winner of the match was to be the undisputed champion. When the dust settled, this was the end result of the intense and epic encounter.
Hogan and Flair announced they would take over Monday Night Raw. A well-timed guitar riff interrupted them. Hunter was a major heel at this point and would have been a perfect fit as the main leader in the Alliance, which would have allowed Austin to captain Team WWF and remain as the number 1 face in the company.
He could have stated about how he broke into the business in WCW, and was treated as a nobody and never given his shot. He could go on to syay how great WCW was and how these guys on Team WCW helped to destroy it and that he wants it to be put to bed for good. Joined: Sep 14, Messages: 1, Likes Received: Steve Austin. I'm gonna say it would have gone along the lines of how Shooter and the Natural have described it. HHH being part of that DX invasion is too much to not make some sort of plot point. Makes perfect sense. But a random question.. Dimice Pre-Show Stalwart. Joined: Aug 16, Messages: Likes Received: 9. As a few previous posters already stated, HHH would of replaced Angle at SummerSlam, however it is unknown if Angle would of still joined the Alliance.

Joined: Nov 13, Messages: Likes Received: I think he would have lead the WWF until the Rock came back. More importantly, I have no doubt that Triple H would have been the first undisputed champion had he not been injured.
I have heard many times that Vince thought H would be healed in time to win the belt in December. Jericho was an ok choice, but he really wasn't on the level of Austin, Rock, and Angle when he won the tournament. Triple H was Vince's guy, and would have been much more suited to be the first undisputed champion. Joined: Dec 30, Messages: Likes Received: The plan was in place to have HHH turn face against Austin as a couple of the posters above stated.
