Where is carnegie deli

The service was good so the wait wasn't long. Our server was quite friendly and aimed to please so I tipped her early, like I used to do at Carnegie. The french toast was different that Carnegie's in texture but it was very delicious. The toasted bagel with cream cheese and butter on the side was very good, and the coffee was delicious, as well, just like Carnegie's. The menu was almost as expansive as Carnegie's.

I didn't test the desserts because, after all, it was breakfast. But, for lunch, I noticed that 2nd Ave Deli had my Carnegie choices, corned beef, and pastrami. Also, for breakfast, if I can ever get beyond the challah french toast, they had my former favorite, lox, eggs and onions. It's good to know that when I'm in New York I can satisfy my longing for challah french toast, bagels and lox eggs and onions.

Now, if they only had kippers and onions like Nate and Al's in Beverly Hills. Oh well, at least for me, Carnegie's gone, no problem. This probably is a good Jewish deli, but unless you love that type of food, it's not worth going out of your way for.

I had 2 'junior rolls' with pastrami and corned beef. The meat is good, and you get a side salad and pickle. The lemonade was mostly a glass full of ice. It was all OK, but 40 dollars for a couple of sandwiches and a soft drink is too much to make this place worth going out of your way to visit. Own or manage this property?
